New Features and Improvements

 Enhanced output record processing:

• Output record data conversions: fixed and floating-point binary to ASCII
• Outrec Parameter now supports delimited fields
• Convert variable length fields to fixed length fields
• Convert variable length records to fixed length records
• Fixed and floating point ASCII conversion with left or right justification and zero fill capability
• Selectively convert EBCDIC data to ASCII and ASCII data to EBCDIC
• Insert ASCII or binary record length into your output records
• Insert repeated literal values (ASCII, HEX, etc.) into your output records
• Trim blanks from the left, right, or both sides of the field

New fieldtypes supported:

• Currency Fieldtype.  Sort, merge, select, or sum on currency fields.  The Currency Fieldtype is an 8 byte integer with four implied decimal digits (Microsoft format).
• Many new date formats, including:
• U.S. Date Fieldtype stored as MM/DD/YYYY, MM-DD-YYYY, MM/DD/YY, MM-DD-YY, M/D/YY, or M-D-YY. 
• Century Date stored as YYYY/MM/DD, YYYY-MM-DD, YY/MM/DD, YY-MM-DD, YY/M/D, or YY-M-D.
• European Date stored as DD/MM/YYYY, DD-MM-YYYY, DD/MM/YY, DD-MM-YY, D/M/YY, or D-M-YY. 
• IP Address (Internet Protocol)
